From their creation in 2006, Doric Arch has exploded onto the live music scene with a vengeance. Born of a dream of feeling – of real connection – through music, Doric Arch is the final result of years of creative exploration and intricate fusion of blues-rock, funky soul and folk music styles.

Doric Arch represents something new for the current music climate – their manipulation of a variety of genres to create an exclusive montage of what can most correctly be described as furious funky rock with a zesty twist of dirty blues has the ability to grip their audience from the first beat. Such a move away from the commonplace that has wreaked rock pop with what has arguably become a cheaply manufactured flood of “ The… ” bands may be frightening for some – but not for these guys, who are challenging current music convention and seeking to shape the coming year of live sound.

Since their launch as Doric Arch at the turn of summer 2007, the band has been uncannily focused upon giving tight live performance, believing this to be the returning vehicle of music propulsion. Indeed, the North of the UK is currently host to this full-throttle doctrine, as Doric Arch presently continues to adorn live music venues throughout the Yorkshire and Midlands regions.
